A Hoy at Burghley Horse TrialsThe Company has supported the Badminton and Burghley Horse Trials for many years taking an Exhibition Stand on an annual basis. The Company donates a Bespoke Eventing Coat at Burghley each year to the highest placed British competitor under 25 who is not yet qualified to wear the union badge.

The first winner of the Dege & Skinner Burghley Coat later became a double gold medallist at the Barcelona and Atlanta Olympic Games.

It is very important when you buy a coat for eventing and dressage that three key requirements are met: "elegance, comfort and practicality" - elegance of fit, complete ease of movement, and for the riding coat to retain both while proving to be hardwearing.

Demanding criteria but essential for today's riding competitors and almost impossible to fulfill unless the coat is cut and fitted precisely to the individual's measurements.
